Terms and Conditions for Help4Mind – Registered UK Charity (Charity Number: 1205961)

Introduction

1.1 These terms and conditions govern your use of the Help4Mind online counselling service (referred to as “the Service”), provided by Help4Mind, a registered charity based in the United Kingdom (Charity Number: 1205961).

1.2 By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these terms and conditions in full. If you disagree with any part of these terms and conditions, you must not use the Service.

Eligibility

2.1 The Service is available to individuals who are at least 18 years old and reside in the United Kingdom with moderate to moderately severe anxiety and/or depression

2.2 Help4Mind reserves the right to refuse the Service to anyone for any reason, at its sole discretion.

Online Counselling

3.1 The Service provides low-cost online counselling for individuals experiencing moderate to moderately severe anxiety and/or depression.

3.2 Online counselling is provided by experienced mental health professionals registered with appropriate governing bodies.

3.3 The Service aims to provide a safe and confidential space for clients to discuss their concerns and receive support.

Appointments

4.1 Appointments can be scheduled through the Help4Mind website or by contacting our designated helpline.

4.2 Clients are responsible for ensuring that all information provided to schedule an appointment is accurate and up-to-date.

4.3 Clients must make cancellations at least 24 hours before their scheduled appointment to be considered valid. Late cancellations may incur charges.

4.4 Clients are expected to be available online and ready for their scheduled appointment at least five minutes before the agreed start time.

4.5 Help4Mind reserves the right to cancel or reschedule appointments in exceptional circumstances. Clients will be promptly notified of any such changes.

Fees and Payments

5.1 Help4Mind charges a low-cost fee for each counselling session to cover operational costs. The current fees are available on the Help4Mind website and are subject to change at any time.

5.2 Payment for each counselling session is required at the time of scheduling the appointment, prior to the session.

5.3 Payments for late cancellations are non-refundable, except in exceptional circumstances at the discretion of Help4Mind.

Confidentiality and Data Protection

6.1 Help4Mind takes client confidentiality seriously and complies with all applicable data protection laws and regulations.

6.2 Client information and records are securely stored and handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is available on the Help4Mind website.

6.3 Client information may only be disclosed in exceptional circumstances, such as when required by law or in cases where there is a serious risk of harm to the client or others.

Limitations of Liability

7.1 Help4Mind aims to provide a high-quality service, but cannot guarantee any specific outcomes or results from the counselling sessions.

7.2 Help4Mind, its employees, volunteers, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from the use of or inability to use the Service.

Governing Law

8.1 These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Modifications

9.1 Help4Mind reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Updated terms and conditions will be posted on the Help4Mind website.

9.2 Continued use of the Service after any modifications signifies your acceptance of the revised terms and conditions.
